Pivotal is pleased to announce the appointment of Jon Round as Chair of the Board of Pivotal Financial Limited (“PFL”), the Group’s FCA-regulated, directly authorised firm. Jon brings to the role a distinguished track record spanning over three decades at the heart of the UK mortgage and financial services industry. Jon’s appointment marks a significant step in Pivotal’s commitment to raising market standards of governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
PFL sits at the core of Pivotal’s regulated advisory operations, providing the governance framework that supports the Group’s AR network of specialist advisers across residential mortgage, adverse credit, later life lending, secondary lending, business finance, protection and general insurance. As Chair of the PFL Board and Risk & Audit Committee, Jon will provide independent oversight, regulatory expertise and strategic counsel to PFL’s leadership team.
Jon Round brings over thirty years of senior leadership expertise in UK financial services along with significant board level experience. Earlier in his career, Jon held roles in Finance, Compliance and Relationship Development. More recently, Jon led the growth transformation of PRIMIS Mortgage Network and TMA Mortgage Club into one of the UK’s most significant adviser communities, with members advising on more than one in ten new mortgages across the country.
